FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Second Annual Denim & Diamonds Fundraiser Brings Good Music and Generous Hearts to the Grizzly Rose

DENVER, COLO., July 10, 2008 Hunter’s Dream for a Cure and friends of the foundation enjoyed a night of great music from John Michael Montgomery at the 2nd Annual Denim & Diamonds Gala, held at the Grizzly Rose. New friends and long-time supporters dined, danced and socialized to raise funds for an important cause.

The money raised benefits Hunter’s Dream in their efforts to support research and development for Sturge-Weber Syndrome and other children’s neurological disorders, and to fund important programs for special needs kids across Colorado.

The evening began with music from Triple Nickel and concert goers dined on a chuck wagon barbeque. Guests who supported the foundation by purchasing VIP passes were allowed into a private meet and greet session with Montgomery before his set.

Todd Harding from K99’s Good Morning Guys helped emcee the night, including auctioning off a guitar signed by John Michael Montgomery, Gloriana, James Otto, Joey and Rory, and Randy Houser. Montgomery was kind enough to play his hit song “I Love the Way You Love Me” with the guitar before presenting it to the winning bidder. In one of the most poignant moments of the night, the lucky winner donated the guitar back to the foundation, to help with future fundraising efforts.

The gala was sponsored by The Grizzly Rose, KYGO, K99, Roper Apparel and Footwear, and Peavy Guitars.

Volunteers put in greatly appreciated hours: working the doors, checking in VIP guests, collecting dinner tickets, selling merchandise, and stirring up donations and spirits in the crowd. Hunter’s Dream extends a special thank you to all the businesses and individuals who made the night possible.
